USDA Farm Programs
As an extra level of service, our agency takes pride on informing our growers in the most up to date assistant programs offered USDA Farm Service Agency and Natural Resource Conservation Service that can aid you the grower both economically and environmentally. An example of a popular program from the FSA office is the Non-Insured Assistance program allows growers to crops such as Olives, Kiwis, and other crops not insurable under standard MPCI or ARH Federal Insurance Programs.
The NRCS office offers many environmentally positive-oriented programs such as Road Oiling/Dust Control Programs, Grape Stake Removal, Irrigation System Improvement, Erosion Control/Farm Road Development Programs and Diesel Tractor and Diesel Pump Motor Replacement Program. These programs are available on "cost share" basis, where the NRCS office pays for a portion of the expenses involved in completing the respective project. Normal enrollment for these programs is in October of each year.

Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP)
EQIP is a cost share program that supplies growers with economic incentives for dust control methods and aids growers to improve irrigation efficiencies via installation of water saving projects such as micro-irrigation and underground pipeline systems. Other environmentally oriented programs, such as erosion control and grape stake removal programs are offered as well. So, please contact our agency to learn the specific programs available in your area.
